On Saturday, May 16, as part of the national “Night of Museums,” the Asolo Civic Museum will hold a special evening opening featuring “SIP & STORIES,” an event designed to offer visitors a fresh perspective and new insights into the museum’s collections. The event will take a more creative and sensory approach aimed at promoting awareness of Asolo’s cultural heritage in a particularly evocative atmosphere. Visitors will be able to “stroll” through the museum’s galleries and along the “Florilegia” exhibition route accompanied by the unplugged (acoustic) soundtrack of the band Almost Blues. This will allow them to enjoy not only the beauty of the local artistic and cultural heritage but also an unusual nighttime view of the city and the thousands of lights of the plain, a sight that can only be admired from the windows and terrace of the Civic Museum.
Here are the scheduled events:
- special opening with extended hours until 11:00 p.m. and reduced admission starting at 6:00 p.m.;
- 6:30 p.m. cultural aperitif with a guided tour of the collections (fee required, reservations mandatory);
- from 8:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. music & ambiance on the Museum terrace with the group Almost Blues.
