On Thursday, May 28, at 6:00 p.m., in the Reading Room of the Cadore Historical Library (Via Cardinale Piazza 14, Vigo di Cadore), there will be a presentation of the book “Toponomastica Alpina. History, Cultures, Territories, and Linguistic Communities,” edited by Davide Bertocci and Federico Vicario, published by the Giovanni Angelini Foundation in co-publication with the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters, and Arts.
Those interested will also have the opportunity to tour the library’s historic section accompanied by librarian Daniela Frescura at 5:00 p.m. Reservations are required at segr.vigo@cmcs.it.
The conference will be moderated by Ester Cason Angelini, with presentations by: a representative of the Municipality of Vigo di Cadore, Marco Staunovo Polacco (President of the Province of Belluno), Luigi Zanin (Director of the International Cooperation and Protection of Linguistic Minorities Unit, Veneto Region), Lucio Eicher Clere (President of the Ladin Federation of Veneto), and the editors: Davide Bertocci (University of Padua) and Federico Vicario (University of Udine, Friulian Philological Society).
