The Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno | Dolomites supports the school and the Goffredo Parise Prize
Treviso, 23 February 2023 – Thanks to the sensitivity of President Mario Pozza, the third appointment has been held on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February in the Conference Room of
the Treviso-Belluno/Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce with the students of the Collegio Pio X, Duca Degli Abruzzi and Da Vinci high schools in Treviso and Scarpa high school in Oderzo.
The two lessons were entrusted to Riccardo Staglianò, an essayist and journalist studying new communication technologies and their effect on society, author of investigations and reports
from Italy and abroad for Venerdì di Repubblica.
As Antonio Barzaghi, creator and artistic director of the Goffredo Parise Prize, explains, Staglianò tells how a reportage is prepared and realised, in the three phases of before (study,
casting of interviewees, logistical preparation), during (recording, organisation of notes, etc.) and after (unwinding, writing) the reportage, also providing some notions on possible multimedia
versions (podcast, video) of the same reportage.
With the help of an annotated anthology of great journalists and writers – small pearls, definitely engaging – he also showed the students examples of style that could inspire them, assigning
them the task of creating a few scenes of an article on the theme of the climate emergency, the main theme of this year’s course.
The School of Reportage is definitely an innovative experiment that looks to the future, desired by Maria Rosaria Nevola, who is its coordinator, for young people who have a desire to
engage in the world of information.
A school designed for knowledge and culture, to exalt ethical principles, the value of sacrifice and civil passion. A project that benefits from the generous support and decisive collaboration of
public administrations, institutions and local financial realities, as well as entrepreneurs of excellence in the area.
