The Lamen Valley lies at the foot of the Vette Feltrine, in the municipality of Feltre on the border with Pedavena. Spectacular landscapes that will leave you speechless and where you can spend a day immersed in nature.
Fun fact: the first inhabitants of the Belluno area moved to the Lamen Valley.
How to reach Lamen?
It is possible to reach Lamen via the main Pedavena road to a breathtaking viewpoint.
How best to spend a day in the Lamen Valley?
If you love hiking, you cannot miss the Covoli theme trail, which is divided into two types of difficulty.
In the first case, it is a route suitable for all, aimed at visiting the Covoli di Lamen and the Tomass shelters.
This is a path of a historical-archaeological nature, designed to discover the ‘covoli’, or under rock shelters that in the past housed small prehistoric communities, now the subject of archaeological research by the Belluno Dolomites National Park.
The second excursion, on the other hand, presents a higher level of difficulty as it also crosses Mount Pafagai.
On both routes, you will enjoy breathtaking scenery by the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park Authority.
Then treat yourself to a break in tradition at the Agriturismo Valle di Lemen where you can enjoy some good food.
