About the reflection on the connection between the fire of the torch and sport? It is an expression of the fire that burns inside, the passion for sport that always keeps us burning and sparkling, and it is the energy you put into sport. These are the words of a handball sportsman.

Besides respect, resilience, and training, sport is also a great opportunity to have lots of friends, and you don’t just practise for the trophy, but also to have fun.

The video of the team of Olympic refugee athletes was a truly significant video among those broadcast, because it gave the students, a new vision of how sport offers a new opportunity to all those who wanted to keep hope alive, believing in sport, sharing the same experiences, despite belonging to different nations and speaking different languages, but believing in the Olympic and Paralympic concept “faster, higher, stronger – together“.

So many athletes from different countries, but sport manages to break down all borders.

In his video message, President Pozza invited the young people to work on the topic of the good use of mobile phones theme “Education 4.0” of the third edition of GenerAZIONE2026.

Art. 4 “Education 4.0
The 21st century is known as the age of information technology. The Internet and smartphones have revolutionised communication. The use of smartphones on a daily basis on a continuous basis, especially among younger people, can cause repercussions on physical and mental health. The new generations, digital natives, are asked to promote the appropriate use of digital technologies by addressing issues such as the correct use of smartphones and the Internet,
cyberbullying, the risks to mental and physical health if one overdoes it with electronic devices, the web, social networking, etc.

The students are asked to give examples of everyday life at school and elsewhere, by means of a text accompanied by a drawing or a video, in which a correct use of technology or a way of countering technological addiction is highlighted (e.g. alternative use of free time through sport or rediscovery of traditional games, etc.).

The FICTS has prepared a Guide for Teachers, available on request from the Organising Committee, which can be consulted online free of charge.
