In Valdobbiadene, Monte Cesen is a massif of the Venetian Pre-Alps, where you can immerse yourself in the greenery and admire the panorama of the entire province up to Venice, and to the
north you can appreciate the Val Belluna, the Vette Feltrine and the dolomites.
Easily accessible by car, it offers the opportunity for walks suitable for all, during which you can picnic and meet grazing cows. Let yourself be surrounded by nature amidst woods and meadows
used for grazing. The sound of cowbells will accompany you on your walk, during which you may also encounter deers, roe deers and hares, whose footprints you will certainly see.
You can take different routes depending on your abilities and interests: if you want to savour the tastes of the area, the ‘malghe’ (mountain cottages) tour is for you; if you prefer to be
surrounded by unspoilt nature, there are many paths you can follow, for example from Pianezza to the Posa Puner Refuge, or ‘sentiero dell’acquedotto e delle prese’ (the Aqueduct and Intakes path).
You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Piave Valley and the Colli Asolani, a view that extends up to the Venice Lagoon and the Euganean hills.
If you are a bike enthusiast, you can try to reach the summit by bicycle;you can even
rent e-bikes from Valdobbiadene
(altitude difference 800 m), or from Piazzale San Francesco in Pianezza (altitude difference 200 m).
During the winter, you can go snowshoeing on the snowy peaks surrounded by an enchanting landscape.
For the little ones, there is an
Adventure Park with several trails where they can have fun in the midst of
nature and the possibility of going for walks in the company of donkeys and alpacas.
Stops at the various malgas offer the opportunity to taste typical alpine products at 0 km, such as the Agriturismo
Malga
Mariech where you can also buy typical malga products,
Agriturismo Castelet and
Rifugio Posa Puner, where you can also spend the night.
