Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto was born in the town of Riese in the Veneto region of Italy.
Not far from Treviso you can find the St. Pius X Museum and the Pope’s parental home, then you can take a break at the Brion Cemetery in San Vito D’Altivole, one of the most important works by Carlo Scarpa. Here you can find the graves created for the members of the Brion family, the
founders of the Brion-Vega electronics company. If you ever travel to Treviso, come to visit this evocative place where you can take some time to reflect and talk to your soul.
