“Mission of the Chambers system is to support the local SMEs development, with special attention to the innovation and technology transfer themes – declares Mario Pozza,
President of Unioncamere Veneto – . Our support to the Competence Center of Triveneto wants to show and reinforce our nearness to the entrepreneurial system within this Industry
4.0 new challenge. Our expertise could be of support for a better understanding of the needs and state of the art of the local SMEs. Our digitalization tools and services could facilitate the
technological transformation process.”

Supporting the Industry 4.0 Project, the Italian Chambers of Commerce are flanking the Punti Impresa Digitale (Digital Enterprise Points – PID), service facilities located in the territory and
dedicated to the dissemination of “digital” in SMEs of all economic sectors. In particular, PID make available plans for spreading the basic knowledge about Industry 4.0, a map of digital maturity
of enterprises and an assistance service (assessment and monitoring) for initiating digitalization processes. In addition, they offer training courses on basic competences for the digital sector
and guidance towards more specialized structures like Digital Innovation Hubs and Competence Centers.
“We believe in the cooperation between different institutions of the territory, first of all Universities, in order to increase the dissemination of digitalization in our companies – adds
Pozza – . It is essential to work in an integrated way and together sustain this initiative. A central economic area like Northeast must not lose the opportunity to give a strong innovative push
to all those micro and small companies that characterized the area and have always nurtured the territory”.
