The event Sustainability: an element of competitiveness was held from 28 to 31 May at Castelbrando, where Veneto hosted Mirabilia – the European network of Unesco sites.
Below is the programme with the tourist itineraries organised during the four-day event, which saw national and international Unesco delegations, the national chamber of commerce system,
and entrepreneurial representatives at Castelbrando to share plans for a sustainable economy to promote the economic system:
The day began with a guided tour of Castelbrando, a magnificent castle located in the municipality of Cison di Valmarino (TV). Between one activity and another, light lunch for
all guests.
In the afternoon, bike tour and visit to the Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria di Follina, one of the most relevant examples of late Romanesque architecture tending towards
Gothic, present in the Marca Trevigiana.
In the morning, a visit to the city of Treviso where the Mayor of Treviso Mario Conte welcomed and greeted the delegation.
This was followed by a tasting at the Confraternita di Valdobbiadene. Valdobbiadene and then on to Possagno where the delegation was able to enter the Gypsotheca Museo Antonio
