IACC members gathered at Piaggio Group Americas’ Meatpacking District offices on June 23 for an exclusive evening celebrating Italian style, innovation, and motor culture. Guests enjoyed a meet-and-greet with company leadership and a showcase of Piaggio’s iconic scooters and motorcycles before coming together for a networking reception that captured the spirit and craftsmanship behind one of Italy’s most beloved brands.
Sublime Italy: Urbino, Raphael and the Flavors of Le Marche
On June 25, travel industry professionals joined us at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for an exclusive private tour of Raphael: Sublime Poetry, the first comprehensive exhibition on Raphael ever held in the United States. Following the tour, guests continued to a presentation and networking lunch exploring the culture, cuisine, and tourist treasures of UNESCO World Heritage Site Urbino and the Marche region, one of Italy’s most extraordinary yet still-undiscovered destinations. The event was organized in collaboration with the City of Urbino, the Chamber of Commerce of Le Marche, and the Regione Marche.
Annual Membership Meeting
On June 26, members gathered at the New York headquarters of Intesa Sanpaolo for the IACC’s Annual Membership Meeting. IACC Executive Director Federico Tozzi shared a summary of 2025 events and initiatives, reported on the year-end financial statements, and provided members with a look into upcoming projects. Members also elected five Directors to the IACC’s Board. From Magna Daunia to Global Markets: A Transatlantic Dialogue (Foggia, Italy)
On July 7, the IACC took part in “From Magna Daunia to Global Markets,“ an initiative organized by Associazione Icaro in collaboration with the Foggia Chamber of Commerce. The event explored U.S. market opportunities for Puglia-based companies, including America Buys Italian, which connects local businesses with leading U.S. independent supermarket chains, as well as additional opportunities in tourism promotion and business development.
SBA Business Guide Series III – “Manage Your Business”
IACC members Eataly and Di Marco—the inventor of pinsa romana—joined forces to bring an authentic taste of Rome to the heart of New York City. Last month, a dedicated pinsa kiosk near Madison Square Park in the Flatiron District served up freshly prepared Roman pinsa to New Yorkers and visitors alike. It was a fitting collaboration: one of Italy’s most beloved food destinations partnering with the brand that created the pinsa romana, bringing this centuries-old Roman tradition directly to one of the city’s most iconic public spaces.
IACC member Schweitzer is making significant strides in sustainable refrigeration with its innovative Waterloop System, a service-friendly, flexible alternative to conventional CO₂ systems that is tailored to the specific needs of food retailers. The system integrates seamlessly with existing store infrastructure and can be customized for design, technology, and heat recovery requirements. Schweitzer is currently implementing the Waterloop System across four projects with E. Leclerc in France, two of which are hypermarkets with sales areas exceeding 10,000 square meters.
The IACC and ANSA Join Forces to Connect Italian and American Business Communities
The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new cooperation agreement with ANSA, Italy’s premier national news agency. Under the partnership, ANSA will publish IACC announcements and news updates on ansa.it, expanding the reach of our news and initiatives to Italian audiences, while both organizations will explore joint projects in communications, information and training. We welcome ANSA to the IACC community and look forward to a fruitful—and informative—collaboration!
