The 12th edition of the Japan Olive Oil Prize (JOOP) concluded on Friday, June 7th, with an Award Ceremony held at Tokyo Tower. After four days of blind tastings, the 11 Jurors announced the winning Extra Virgin Olive Oils (EVOOs) of the 2024 edition in front of media representatives, importers, and the Ambassadors of many of the participating countries.

Italian EVOOs achieved remarkable results this year, with 13 out of the 22 Best in Class Prizes (awarded to EVOOs scoring 95 points or higher) going to Italy. Notably, the highest score was awarded to Frantoio L’Olinda for their L’Olinda Monovarietale di Raggia.

We are thrilled to announce the 2024 Summer Cocktail Joint Networking event on July 11th!

Hosted at Hilton Tokyo, this is one of the largest networking events of the year with another 12 international chambers and more than 200 guests. It’s a perfect occasion to enhance your network, connecting with industry leaders and professionals from various fields, in an ambience infused with the summer vibes of Ibiza.

Enjoy a variety of refreshments during the event, including Spanish wines and cava provided by SpCCJ corporate members, and delightful authentic pintxos and tapas crafted by the culinary team of Hilton Tokyo. Guests will also enjoy a selection of beers and DIY craft gin cocktails at the Hilton Tokyo’s acclaimed ‘Beer Garden in the Sky‘. The evening is set in a vibrant open-air club atmosphere, with a live DJ echoing the sophisticated club culture of Ibiza.

*It is on a first come first served basis. Cancellations after this date and no-shows will be charged fully. No registration will be accepted after the deadline.

There are only 15 seats available for ICCJ, so make sure to secure your seat! 

Phenomena, an international event dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship in Italy and organized by the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce, will take place from 4th to 5th July 2024. It is the first exhibition in Italy entirely dedicated to companies created by women entrepreneurs from Puglia, Campania, Sardinia, Piemonte, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo, Sicily, Molise, and Marche.

Phenomena has two main sectors: fashion (accessories such as shoes and bags, jewelry) and food. ICCJ, in cooperation with the organizer, is looking for buyers from Japan.

Application Process:
First, please enter your company information using the entry form below.
The information we receive will be submitted to the organizer for review.
Please be sure to indicate the producers you would like to meet in the business meetings when you submit your entry. The number of entries will also be one of the items for screening.
Buyers whose applications are approved will proceed to flight scheduling and set up matching (business meetings).

Participants must be able to communicate and conduct business in English or Italian, and must be able to follow the program.
