Find the 5 elements in the Treviso and Belluno areas: the new column dedicated to Chinese tourists

We have tried to interpret the five fundamental elements of Chinese philosophy, adapting them to the tourist attractions of Treviso and Belluno. Discover how Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire are created and transformed in these splendid cities full of natural riches, breathtaking views and beauty in all its forms.

Treviso and Belluno, a unique territorial system of rare beauty boasting landscapes and natural riches of all kinds: an exceptional territory embellished by 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites (the Dolomites and the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene), the Montegrappa UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve, 3 Palladian villas in Treviso (Villa Barbaro, Villa Emo and Villa Zeno) declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites,

In order to enhance this variety of resources and tourist attractions, we in the editorial staff of Trevisobellunosystem (the territorial marketing portal of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti) have created a new column for you Chinese tourists, as a tribute to your millenary culture.

Inspired by a fundamental concept to your idea and conception of the world, we have tried to interpret the theory of the 5 elements by translating it into the presentation of the Treviso and Belluno area in all its facets. In fact, we have linked and matched the 5 elements – Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire -, their characteristics and attributes, to the richness and variety of the Treviso and Belluno territories. In this initiative, our intention is to guide the Chinese tourist on a journey of discovery of these territories, providing him with a map of concepts familiar to him and his splendid culture.

Just as the earth is not just an element but also represents the end of summer, transformation, the colour yellow and taste, in the same way the territories of Treviso and Belluno are not just unique landscapes, characteristic villages and natural gems, but also microcosms that enclose and offer life experiences, profound emotions, flavours linked to the territory, stories of authenticity and artistic genius.

Our hope is to guide you as best we can on such a special journey, in which these two seemingly distant universes, from China to the Dolomites to the Prosecco hills, find a point of encounter and dialogue, respecting their differences but enhancing their union.

To ensure that you are and will always be welcomed in the best possible way, feeling at home, we invest in the future of tourism, with the three-year GenerAZIONE2026 project in a participatory network, on Olympic and Paralympic values, for a tourist reception prepared for cultural mediation, sustainability and accessibility.

With the column ‘Journey through the 5 elements of Treviso and Belluno’ we therefore wanted to provide you with a useful intercultural marketing tool, and with GenerAZIONE2026 we look to the future with the training of young people.

Abbiamo cercato di interpretare i cinque elementi fondamentali della filosofia cinese, adattandoli alle attrazioni turistiche di Treviso e Belluno. Scopri come Terra, Metallo, Acqua, Legno e Fuoco si creano e si trasformano in queste splendide città piene di ricchezze naturali, panorami mozzafiato e bellezza in tutte le sue forme.

Treviso e Belluno, un sistema territoriale unico e di rara bellezza che vanta paesaggi e ricchezze naturali di ogni tipo: un territorio eccezionale impreziosito da 2 patrimoni UNESCO (le Dolomiti e le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene), la Riserva della Biosfera MAB UNESCO Montegrappa, 3 ville palladiane a Treviso (Villa Barbaro, Villa Emo e Villa Zeno) dichiarate dall’UNESCO patrimonio dell’umanità, 

Al fine di valorizzare questa varietà di risorse ed attrazioni turistiche, noi della redazione di Trevisobellunosystem (il portale di marketing territoriale della Camera di Commercio di Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti) abbiamo creato per voi turisti cinesi una nuova rubrica, come omaggio alla vostra cultura millenaria.

Ispirandoci ad un concetto fondamentale per la vostra idea e concezione del mondo, abbiamo cercato di interpretare la teoria dei 5 elementi traducendola nella presentazione del territorio di Treviso e Belluno in tutte le sue sfaccettature. Abbiamo infatti collegato ed abbinato i 5 elementi – Terra, Metallo, Acqua, Legno e Fuoco -, le loro caratteristiche ed attributi, alla ricchezza e varietà dei territori di Treviso e Belluno. In questa iniziativa, il nostro intento è guidare il turista cinese in un viaggio alla scoperta di questi territori, fornendogli una mappa con concetti familiari a lui e alla sua splendida cultura.

Così come la terra non è solo un elemento ma rappresenta anche la fine dell’estate, la trasformazione, il colore giallo ed il gusto, allo stesso modo i territori di Treviso e di Belluno non sono solo paesaggi unici, borghi caratteristici e perle naturali, ma anche micro-cosmi che racchiudono ed offrono esperienze di vita, emozioni profonde, sapori legati al territorio, storie di autenticità e genio artistico.

Il nostro auspicio è di guidarvi al meglio in un viaggio così particolare, in cui questi due universi apparentemente lontani, dalla Cina alle Dolomiti alle colline del Prosecco, trovano un punto di incontro e di dialogo, nel rispetto delle differenze ma valorizzando la loro unione.

Affinchè voi siate e sarete sempre accolti nel migliore dei modi, sentendovi come a casa, investiamo nel futuro del turismo, con il progetto triennale GenerAZIONE2026 in un network partecipato, sui valori olimpici e paralimpici, per un’accoglienza turistica preparata alla mediazione culturale, alla sostenibilità e all’accessibilità.

Con la rubrica “Viaggio attraverso i 5 elementi di Treviso e Belluno” abbiamo quindi voluto fornirvi uno strumento utile di interculturalità in un’ottica di cross-cultural marketing e con GenerAZIONE2026 guardiamo al futuro con la formazione dei giovani.
